At the beginning of each month, a key performance report that should be run is the month-end product sales report for the previous month.

This critical report will give you product sales by ASIN in both revenue and units for all the products you sold on Amazon in the previous month.

The Product Sales Report is key to answering the following questions:

  • What were my top selling products last month?
  • Which variations are the most popular?
  • How much revenue did they generate (both consumer and business sales)?
  • How many units did I sell?
  • What were my mid, low and no selling products?
  • What products do I need potentially need to advertise more?
  • What products need listing improvements?
  • What products need to be couponed or repriced?
  • What product sales are slowing due to the end of seasonal sales?
  • What products ran out of stock in January and need higher inventory levels next year?

This data is key to making making strategic product line and advertising decisions each month.

❗ IMPORTANT: RUN THE DETAIL PAGE REPORT ON THE 3RD OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH TO MAKE SURE ALL SALES DATA IS UP-TO-DATE
